Dr. Jessica Kasiss, Menopause Certified Practitioner
MD, FACOG, MSCP
Education & Training
Dr. Kassis is a Stanford-trained, board-certified gynecologist with over 15 years of experience in women’s health. She specializes in general gynecology and perimenopause/menopause management, helping women navigate the complex physical and emotional changes that occur during midlife.
Dr. Kassis earned her BA from Middlebury College, and after a stint in West Africa with the Peace Corps, she received her MD from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center, and practiced there initially as a clinical instructor, teaching residents and serving as the Assistant Residency Program Director.
Dr. Kassis then moved to San Mateo County Hospital for 8 years, where a very high volume of surgery and pregnancy management helped her gain the experience she needed to feel confident treating a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic issues.
When Dr. Kassis joined Palo Alto Medical Foundation in 2019, she trained under a leading and long-standing menopause specialist. When that mentor retired, she entrusted Dr. Kassis with her practice, giving Dr. Kassis the opportunity to care for thousands of women navigating midlife and menopause. Around the same time, Dr. Kassis began experiencing perimenopause symptoms herself, deepening her personal connection to this area of medicine.
