Menopause Management
Comprehensive, personalized hormone care for Bay Area women navigating symptoms of perimenopause and menopause
Perimenopause and menopause are characterized by midlife physiological changes that occur as the ovaries begin slowing down. Women often experience unpleasant symptoms such as night sweats, mood swings, and hot flashes. Radiant Women’s Health, led by menopause specialist Dr. Jessica Kassis, helps Bay Area women manage hormones and better navigate perimenopause and menopause with safe, evidence-based care.
Radiant’s Evidence-Based Approach to Menopause Management
At Radiant Women’s Health, we only offer MD-led, evidence-based treatments that are safe and proven.
Hormone Therapy (HT) can help women reduce symptoms and improve quality of life while reducing the risk of osteoporosis and other age and hormone-related complications.
Previously known as Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), HT is the most effective FDA-approved treatment for moderate to severe menopause symptoms. The latest research shows that HT is a safe and effective treatment in the management of moderate to severe menopausal symptoms when started within 10 years of menopause onset or by the age of 60.
Our doctors for perimenopause and menopause management fight harmful misinformation. Radiant offers science-backed, whole-body solutions to help each patient achieve a better quality of life through fully personalized treatment plans. Is Hormone Therapy Right for Everyone?
While clinically proven to help with menopause management, HT isn’t the best or safest treatment for every patient. Women with certain health conditions should not undergo hormone-based therapies. HT is likely not a good option for you if you have been diagnosed with any of the following:
- Breast cancer
- Uterine cancer
- Unexplained uterine bleeding
- Liver disease
- Blood clots
- Cardiovascular disease
If you or a close family member has had these health conditions, you should discuss your treatment options with Dr. Kasiss. Be sure to disclose any additional health conditions you may have to determine if HT is the right option for your menopause care.
